I recently adopted two gorgeous kittens from the local animal shelter. The smaller of the two, a male we named Griffey, has been congested, coughing and sneezing since we brought him home. At first I thought his coughing was attributed to hairballs, but we gave him some hairball treatment with no results. I then got some antibiotics and have been giving him a dose of it twice a day but I still haven’t seen much difference. The vet said we should bring him in to be tested for feline leukemia but from what I’ve been reading he doesn’t have the usual symptoms. He is FULL of energy, eats good, and acts fine. The only trouble is his congested little nose and sneezing/coughing. Any ideas what this could be? I plan on taking him to the vet tomorrow, but I’d love to settle my nerves before then.

My Son is eight years old and he’s gonna be a tall boy after his dad(6’3). my son almost everyday says that his arms and legs are hurting everyday. I know abot growing pains and I kind of expected him to have them, but not constantly. I am a medic, but now I’m starting to worry. Each year he has significant growth, and I’m expecting him to do the most growth this summer, he’ll be 9 in a few days. But the excessive complaints almost eceryday are starting to worry me. I’m making an appointment today for a check-up. ButI have time to ask about it first.

My kitten has had diarrhea for about 5 days now. She has a dry nose. Her booty is tender and inflamed. She is eating a lot of food and drinking a lot of water but she immediately goes to the bathroom as soon as she gets done eating. Is it likely that my kitten has feline leukemia?

I can’t find straight forward answers on the internet. It’s just I’m really ill right now and no one can figure out what’s wrong. I’m researching =[[

Is getting sudden unexplained cuts a symptom of leukemia and also is a cold thats hard to get rid of a symptom of leukemia? i know that you have to be checked for it i just want to know it that part of the symptoms

Are there any common symptoms to know if your cat is infected? Is there a cure?
