.. the reason i chose to do biology. im still 16 so i got a long road to go, but this might be a way for me to have any influence in the world. (:

  • fosheimdet:

@Chnamanjx yes, but how are you supposed to do that when there is a huge number of cells? And if you dont insert the gene in one of the cells, it will keep on duplicating, and it just keeps on growing.

  • WPHSBandGeek:

Cellular psychopath lol I was thinking hulk mode xD

  • EnigmaHood:

@Chnamanjx That’s the solution, gene therapy.

Cancer is a disease caused by a dietary deficiency of nitrilosides/Amygdalin found in seeds and other
unpopular foods just like scurvy is a deficiency of vitamin C – This was
discovered in 1952- Big pharma / FDA covered up the cure and declared it fraud and quackery.
Watch World Without Cancer Video and investigate. Many lives have been saved just by modifying diet and
just saying no thank you to the Big pharma / FDA chemo/ radiation rackett .

  • ebqz:

    @Chnamanjx
problem with that is, that there is no single “apoptosis-gene”. this process is highly regulated and controlled by a number of different factors.

  • LucySISEL:

Cancer is really scary! Check this out and dont let cancer to get you or your family crusadeagainstacancer.blogspot.com/

  • nomanrashidgill:

    nice

  • MultiNerve:

What causes Photo-oncogenes? I thought that any DNA changes were inherited from the parents? Or can they be affected by outside factors (radiation, carcinogens, etc.)? Future oncologist here, so I really would like to know.

  • BillyLids1:

This is great video! I really didn’t know anything about tumors…Great, great! Thank you, Sal!

  • tzhang1000:

@Chnamanjx Yes, you are right, but inserting the apoptosis gene to all cancer cells is harder. If you insert the gene to normal cells, the normal cells may die early, too bad :(

  • tzhang1000:

My understanding about leukemia is: The leukemia cells are derived ONLY from the abnormal haematopoietic stem cells, and the leukemia cells themselves cannot divide to form new leukemia cells. Is this right???? Please add a lecture about leukemia. Thanks!

cancer has been one of the serious medical condition especially in my country Kenya. working in public facilities have made me learn more. The problems we are facing are: lack of information about cancer, inadequate diagnostic facilities doctors.
The information you are giving will enrich people in terms of knowledge and take appropriate measure in controlling its menace.
